Our next six day music camp experience is…

“STAGING A NEW WORLD”

“Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes” and counting… it’s time to revive our season of music-making!

Join other young and emerging artists from around the world in an exchange of talent and creativity as we revisit live performance.

Influenced by our experiences within the pandemic, together we present a new work of art, created across four boot camps, inspiring hope, and celebrating life and the art of live performance.

You’ll be mentored by international performers throughout the course of a two-year project that culminates in a world premiere performance.

Each six-day camp will take place every six months through 2022 and 2023 with all attendees receiving a certificate of participation and a recording of the event at the end of the complete series.

The first three camps are to be held simultaneously across our main TCX Bureaus; with participants travelling to Malaysia*, or performing virtually from their own country, for the fourth and final camp and performance.

A prequel is scheduled online and live for later this year.

Where	Blended learning (online or physical subject to regional pandemic restrictions) within TCX regions including Canada, UK, Malaysia Australia and New Zealand tbc SNW Exchange, taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.*
With	TCX has a large network of international performers as industry partners; artists with a pedigree of award-winning credits to their names. These camps provide an opportunity to work alongside professionals, learning new skills and gaining international connections.
Fees	The course fees will be release 6 to 9 months prior each camp and are subject to Terms & Conditions, and is correct at the time of publication..

Who can apply?

STAGING A NEW WORLD (SNW) welcomes actors, singers, dancers

What ages are permitted?

(SNW) is an ‘open access’ event subject to application from the age of 12*

Attendees over 18 may be required to provide a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (Working with Children) or equivalent regional form. (10 – 16* years for SNW The Prequel 2021)

What is included in the fee?

Hours and hours of wonderful coaching! Travel, accommodation and insurance is not included in the course fee. Click here for a full list of T&Cs.

Can I attend just some of the (SNW) camps?

If you so wish, we suggest you stay the course however!

Can I still perform even if I do not wish to travel to Malaysia for the final camp?

Yes, however your individual options will be limited to the technical options available at the time. Depending on the size of the cohort we can have break out sections dropped into the live to the performance from regions to region. The full fee applies in all cases.
