Based on the MPO Forum for Malaysian Composers, Sound Moves is also ideated by TCX’s Co Founder, Kevin Field who has, for over 30 years, commissioned and premiered new works in the UK, Europe, the ASEAN region, and Australia.

Sound Moves brings together composers of all abilities, experience and outlooks into a concentrated 6-day workshop in which new works are created and formed, and in which participants learn how to interact with the players, and evolve and develop their music under ‘industry conditions.’

Each participant will have their work rigorously assessed and tested over the course of the camp, which itself ends with a performance.

Participants benefit from experiencing the direct impact their work has on the fellow attendees, the musicians and audience who will advise, support and counsel.
